With rolling hills and bustling market towns, the South Downs National Park’s landscape covers over 600 square miles, with breath-taking views and hidden gems. From the chalk cliffs along the coastline in East Sussex to rolling farmland, ancient woodland and lowland heaths with ‘picture perfect’ villages, traditional country pubs and flourishing vineyards, there is so much to see and do within the National Park. 
Whether your preferred activity is walking, cycling, riding on horseback or paddling in a canoe there are lots ways that you can take in the Park and its many attractions.
