The stunning remains of a Roman home with world-class mosaic floors set in the heart of the South Downs National Park. About a 15 minute drive.

Take a ride on the narrow-gauge railway and explore the site on the historic bus service. With an extensive collection of trains  buses and cars, a historic Fire Station, Bus Garage and Cycle Shop. This is an educational but  fun day out and only a 15 minute drive.

Steeped in racing history, the course  holds many 'themed' race meetings throughout the year. Including evening meetings in the Summer, which are often supported with other activities and entertainment and can be great fun.

As featured in the BBC's 'The Repair Shop' series , the museum gives a facinating and educational insight into the heritage, skills  and crafts of the local area. The centre is a 20 minute drive away and well worth a visit. 

With a wealth of seaside history, Bognor Regis has become a most popular seaside place to visit. The large expanses of sand at low tide and the 2.7 mile long promenade make Bognor Regis well worth a visit. Bognor Regis is about 20 minutes drive.

Home to superb sandy beaches, a bustling marina and harbour at the mouth of the river Arun. Littlehampton offers all that you would expect from a visit to an English seaside resort, not forgetting plenty of places to sample traditional fish and chips.

Inspired by the Baroque palaces of Europe, Petworth House displays the finest art collection in the care of the National Trust. The 17th century building is set in parkland that were landscaped by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Afterwards you can peruse the many antique shops and the like in Petworth itselef. Petworth is a 20 minute drive.

The picture postcard village is steeped in history and is a favourite haunt for artists and photographers. The village offers something to suit all tastes, visit the quay and the church, browse through the many artisan shops  or just relax and enjoy this very special place. A 25 minute drive.

With bowling lanes, a Clip n' Climb arena and a fun Soft Play area, Out of Bounds has facilities for children of all ages. You can also play Adventure Golf, Footgolf or even Disc Golf so you can  make a day of it. Located in Rustington about 20 minutes drive.

The most stunning church set in beautiful countryside in the pretty village of Boxgrove. The ruins of the priory are just a short walk along the footpath. The Priory is less than 15 minutes drive.

You can stroll through or linger on the meandering shingle paths. The 4-acre garden has year-round interest, structure, and colour. Afterwards browse the gift shop and plant centre or take a refreshment in the tea rooms. Less than 10 minutes drive.

One of the UK’s leading aviation museums. With an impressive display of historic aircraft stretching from the First World War and numerous interactive displays, aircraft cockpits and simulators for visitors to experience.
